Song because as Jimi was here earlier and he was saying he started the world he did of a By think one to 2 years at the most and then I took it over but I used to really enjoy listening when he played in one of them one of the people was hammer on American Latinos and non a but I remember hearing this Daniel Ponce was one of my 1st C.D.'s of Latin music that I played here on the world beach l so I thought I would do that today a 9 to 33911. It played fine when I was at home I preview all my music and I listen to the songs because I always kind of make sure of my flow so I don't know what's wrong with that one but I'm going to play a song with. Michelle Montana when he is from. The island of Trinidad and I really really enjoy a song when he was really young and when the late leave his late eighty's when I was there and he has the song call you and yes we're talking to you about calling 9233911. Right catch my breath Yabba dancing around having lots of fun doing it too and I am doing is trying to do this exercise you know I get on the treadmill half hour a day but today I couldn't so I'm dancing and I'm catching my breath because I'm having lots of fun I hope you are too hey stop that. Help It's so exciting in here that I know oh my God and. From Puerto Rico just gave us. A modern day banner and that's from the 2001 that some Latin music for you just like local support of one against the revolution and they played regular on the river they played Summer arts fair just a wonderful wonderful group they're from all over you know Latin America and they're based out of Miami and Michelle Montana from Trinidad you from the ecstatic experience and yes we are talking we're. Over here yeah we are really just need a few more calls and we can work as they are less than a 1000 to our $70000.00 goal and we'd like to people at high water farms love came 233911. And also. Your notices you know the thing. They've both been mayors of arcade others here now and came over it's important to us it says game has been important to us for 31 years and I'd like to expand that to the Big us all of us it's about all of us for sure so thank you to them and if you want to be thank you you have to call 9 to 309 on one . And we still have a few radios of those secret radios it's a really good time while we're thinking of it oh yeah by the way the power does go out Oh you think so I mean I just had mixer last night one of the members of Iraq or it was telling me that you know they were supposed to open for Scratch Perry in Santa Cruz you know last week and they got so far and they couldn't find a gas station open and so they do you know and then they try to come back and they couldn't find a gas they had all come back and one of the members of Dad drove down with gasoline form so they could you know get home and yes I mean it really affected a lot of people and more than you can imagine and it's got the whole country talking about who owns the power grid so and that's kind of cool and I thought was really interesting I really don't like Brian line Williams You know Brian Well Brian lie and lie and Brian Yeah but you know he was on the and he really did a wonderful thing at the end of the show you know he said well you know we're here in the East Coast so all you know he goes if there was fires like this in the east coast you'd be seeing a 2nd a 2nd photo we'd be talking about it all the time but this is what's happening on the West Coast and we aren't talking about it and we should be as news people and I thought that was really right on and then I think it was on Friday Katie Toure who actually grew up in Southern California you know did a whole segment had people talking about fires and everything because she said we're not talking about this enough on the East Coast people are really aren't aware of what is going on and what's going people's lives how they're just being you know turned up turned in every every well so people don't you know it's inconvenient to dangerous you know that's the range and. In-between are the businesses people who work that don't get their hours in and so they're out and the people with the businesses they're out because they couldn't serve the people as they usually do and so it's a huge economic hit as well speaking of hits what time is it now. For $21.00 we're just getting there we're getting in there and we need to hear you calling us at 9233911 and I'm going to dollars We're less than a $1000.00 a box and I know we can do it on the world beat Joe can do it I'll be so nice we've got. About 40 minutes to go on the show oh no we have I'm here till 530 so we have our Yeah we haven't got we have an hour and 9 minutes and let's do it by 5 Anyway yes that's what I say and you can be Listen do whatever you want although I had a I don't loose and do what I want whenever I why I add another thank you here I want to thank Tarzan in Miranda and he says Ok Mike keeps us all together so let's keep the community love happening you know you know and it when I you know when we got that e-mail about you know it came out you know it was a community radio but to have came out listed as one of the top 10 community radio stations in the country and we were actually listed as number 2 and it was an article about you know musicians and you know trying to make and they were saying you know if you go to community radio they'll play your music they'll invite the interview you they'll have you come into play live and in attest to that yeah you know done it yeah. It has solid psych and I mean I was just so excited really excited a lot of people to know that you know there were considered that you know one of the top you know community radio stations and that's because we really are here for you and you know it's when we say people powered it is we are people powered you know it's it's just us doing this but you know it's you. It's all about all of us and it only you know it's just a real strength of the community and so many other community organizations are tied into this you know I mean I'm looking in front of me you know we have the posters for the deejays and I'm looking at a land stewardship forest gardening in regenerate of Agriculture happening choose day from $530.00 to $8.00 at the Redwood Playhouse and that's just a poster sitting in front of me and you know D.J.'s can just look up and you know see what's going on and it's just you know to know to know what your neighbors you know what's happening your neighbor you know it's like really important to them well nonprofits throughout the county have public service announcements on came and so they can always tell people when their events are or programs are in the spring there's all these great scholarships for kids based on you know you write an essay about environmental stuff and all those deadlines go out through game so that people know about that and maybe the kids aren't listening but maybe their grandparents are or maybe their mom and dad are and last night when I was in Eureka and when I was going up into the building there was a dispensary next door I think they were and there was but there was sort of having posters you know on the on the windows they just had a big you know like you can look in the if you look like the window yeah the shelf right there and they still had our came you know hollowing poster there so I just made me really happy you know that you know people do come down from there and and it was just so sharing I said when I was emceeing last night as a duet if I say something about album. Because I knew that a lot of people might want to come see him it'll be a full house on that material on Thursday night just a little I love album. I mean he's from Italy and he's just an incredible reggae are you have some I don't have any I mean I would look for some but when I just want to say he was it when he was at Reggae on the river I guess was about 3 or 43 years ago and he might even of close the night out but he you know he was doing this kind of a reggae thing he started moving his voice and then he started singing opera and Italian and it kind of had this little reggae be too but he was operating. Was amazing I was like wow yeah so I hope he does that I don't feel did that on Thursday night but that was really special Reagan the river when he did that well we're going to keep the music happening because we're dancing over oh I am getting something done where you are this is the kind of music I love to do housework too so I hope you're getting something done or join yourself or just dancing 60 $5.00 and yes $65.00 and we will have our gold folks is that right.
