Good morning. Reporter good morning, lester. The practice goes back three decades. Secret service bringing in volunteers to drive white house staffers in the president ial motorcade. Questions over if that is putting the president in jeopardy. The president ial motorcade. Known for its flashy lights and high levels of speed and as the report details volunteer drivers with no special training. While the practice dates back to the 1980s, it is coming under scrutiny after a graduate student showing her standing next to the president s limousine. She was among the volunteers on the president s trip to San Francisco this past fall. Natalie told the New York Times she received little training from the secret service. But the Agency Spokesman defends the practice. Saying the vehicles driven are nowhere near the president and the volunteers are briefed by the agent responsible for the motorcade prior to any movement. There is no other traffic on the road at the time the president ial motorcade is moving. Still some critics worry the untrained volunteers could put everyone at risk. Frankly, no one should be behind the wheel of a vehicle other than secret Service Agents or sworn Law Enforcement officers. Reporter this comes as the secret service tries to regroup following a major embarrassment for the agency when a man made it across the north lawn and all the way inside the white house. Fremont Police Received several calls about a coyote biting people at these three locations near Mission San Jose thursday night. The first victim, a 5yearold boy walking with his dad when a coyote bit his leg. Soon after, a man walking walking also was bitten in the leg. The coyote chased that mans children. An hour later another Man Told Police he fought off the coyote by kicking it. None of the victims were seriously hurt. Neighbors say they remain on alert. Police found the coyote about 1 1 2 hou
