This is near broadway near first in 42nd in oakland. We do know that the officer was taken away by ambulance. Again on we know right now is that there was some sort of crash, and other people involved. The Police Officer was taken to the hospital by ambulance. We were bring you more information. We are taking their life, this is broadway near first in 42nd. Certainly, a big area. Yes, it looks like the police car is up against one of those large trees. That is a tremendous impact. It happened last night it shut down the freeway for five hours including the busy evening rush hour causing a traffic nightmare and on city streets. In the last hour, they confirmed that both man and woman shot in the incident are alive. This point, there are three people in this custody. It happened around 3 30 pm. A man and a woman were heading eastbound near the exit. Witnesses say that sharks ran out. Session that shots rang out. Shots rang out. They do believe that the man and woman were targeted. The occupants of the minivan were struck. He needed to be airlifted. There were multiple incidents. They say that those incidents were a critical at that and help me to find the suspects. Any shooting is dangerous to be around. We want people to be a good witness. And like i said, we have had some great witnesses. They gave us critical information. They were overhead as police towed a silver dodge away. Its the same locations were officers took three suspects into custody. Investigators say, that witnesses were critical in leading them to the suspects. No word on who the suspects were. We are here waiting for them to talk and trying to get more information about this case this morning. Thank you. 6 06 am, were waiting for more details from Santa Clara Police about last nights deadly officer involved shooting. It happened near the expressway. They were called about 5 pm, someone said that their son was out of control. When police arrived, they encountered a man in his 20s and when officer uses taser. The details are still sketchy. But intensified and they shot and killed the man. This is a tragic scene that affects everyone involved from the family. And the secret the officer as well. We do not know if the suspect had a weapon. The officer who fired the shot is now on administrative leave. Reportedly he has been on the Santa Clara Police force for eight years. A dozen people could face charges for hazing at napa hit high school. They say that it started as an input an investigation and grew into a case of hazing with separate incidents dating back to the 2015 2016 school year. They have identified 14 people who are accused of hazing. And a coach who they say didnt properly report the incidents. If you are deemed a mandated reporter and you see alleged are possible child abuse or you are aware of information that you have to report it. They say that the incidents involved teammates assaulting other teammates by holding them down and hitting and grabbing them. They are conducting their own reviews but some say that its taking too long. San jose city public packed as victims as the devastating floods demanded answers. They want to know how mistakes made by officials will be corrected. They admitted that they waited too long to evacuate people and they should have admitted an advisory on february 19 two days before the floods, with 500 homes causing 73 million in damage.
