Bart is increasing patrols at some bart stations after a mob of teenagers stormed a bart car over the weekend. They robbed passengers. It all happened within seconds. And this morning we can tell you folks coming and going from the turn styles, this is the exact area where they hopped the turn styles and up the escalators up to the train platform. It happened saturday night at 9 30. Witnesses tell police that the teens demanded cell phones, wallets and purses from the passengers inside. That whole robly took about 30 seconds, with the Group Getting on and off the train before the doors could closed. The moment that the doors opened, they jumped on board and committed 7 robberies. Six on the train car itself. One on the platform. Reporter two passengers were punched in the face and treated for head injuries. Commuters this morning are on high alert. Police say there have been no reports that the attacker used guns or any other weapons. Bart is using Surveillance Video to try to identify the suspects and is working with Oakland Police, oakland unified schools and Oakland Housing Authority to try to find the teens. They rushed up to the platform as quickly as possible but, again, all of this unfolded so quickly, in just about 30 seconds. By the time they reached the area, the robbers had already gotten away. The Program Director at the boys and girls clubs in petaluma and marin have been arrested on suspicion. He was arrested yesterday at his home. He is accused of posting photos of i 6yearold girl from his after School Program in an internet chat room where images are shared of child pornography. He has also posted the girls name, address and phone number in that chat room. Police say therm contacted by the department of Homeland Security that tracked him through his internet ip address. Uc berkeley is preparing for protests if ann coulter speaks on the campus later this week. There were protests when Milo Yiannopoulos tried to speak last february. Coulters speech was canceled saying that they could not guarantee security for the event. They wanted to move it to may 2nd for safety reasons and not censorship. President trump is now backing off from insisting that money to build a border wall between mexico be included in the Government Spending bill.
