kind of utterances that joe walsh is going to have to deal with. he's clearly a conservative, which i think weld is not, ex-governor weld who's on the very moderate centrist side of things. i tend to think, as you said, that maybe the debt and deficit isn't really the biggest problem we have right now. as he says if he's going to talk about tone, and democratic, small "d," democratic institutions and trade and foreign policy, frankly, i think that's a topic that's ripe for someone like mark sanford to take on. this is the guy who's ready to invite the taliban to camp david two or three days before 9/11. and we've yet to hear a republican in congress of any stratture take it to trump with a two by four. those sorts of things that sanford can do effectively that will rattle some of those people who were soft voters for trump. they didn't like hillary
