these ill liberal forces using democratic processes and institutions to undermine democratic processes and institutions, and the institutions and the people who inhabit them don't quite know what to do. and so this is part of, i think, this ongoing effort that trumpism that the republican party seemed to represent, to really just kind of gut the foundation of our democratic policy. to undermine it all. i think we need to respond to it at the level and the scale at the crisis it presents. i think you're absolutely right on every level with regards to this, lawrence, absolutely. >> so rick, as we know, the republican party that terwilliger was working in in the 1980s, ronald reagan republican party, george bush republican party, bob dole republican party, for decades they were harping on trying to stop frivolous lawsuits, this
