>> professor cobb, what did you make of the president's use of history to frame this speech today? >> well, it was a great deployment of this. in has been on his mind, you know, we could make a link between this and the speech that he gave on january 6th when he was referencing the ways in way which the worst parts of american history are resurrecting itself before our very eyes. he has been harkening back to this on the same token at the same time, as you well know, that lots of people who don't really want to talk about history, they want to talk about the here and now, and a loud contingent of people who were dissatisfied with what they think the administration has done thus far. that was a sub theme of what was happening today in atlanta. >> professor jelani cobb and professor eddie glaude, who bring the howard/morehouse
