"nbc nightly news" gets about 6.5 million. in fact, when you take out sporting events or syndicated shows, "nightly" has been one of the top three shows in all television. mr. carlson is influential. but he is hardly the only one with the nation's attention. at least plenty of reason for concern but not at the expense of our confidence or our hope. and there's always reason for hope. my biggest reason is you. msnbc debuted with an interview
