sent people scrambling. pounding rain, winds, even a tornado warning. keith daniels was out in the storm as it moved through. well, we re on first street here in brooklyn park. neighbors say mother nature punched a one, two. tree fell on top of a car here. and gene tate sitting on porch when the storm blew through. rain fell and then hail the size of bubble gum started to fall. it was hitting the awning, went ping ping ping. wind loud and a big crack. that was the sound of a tree across the street. lightning struck the tree. it snapped, fell on daniel witney s new car. we were standing in the window. and i was watching the hail come down. when it was coming down. and next thing you know, the tree came down with everything. on top of the car. what were you thinking standing there? i started to cry. that was my new car. 2009. brand new. i didn t know what to do. well wicked weather here in arundel county and in towson too. dime size hail dropped in a townhome community at towson towne center mall. no heavy damage there. but back in brooklyn park, a tree on top of a car. but fortunately no one was hurt. in brooklyn park, keith daniels fox 45 news late edition . wow! yeah those a man shot in the face just after 9:30p.m. tonight. it happened near the intersection of north broadway and east eager streets. police, of course, as you can see are on the scene investigating. a teenage girl is recovering tonight after a bullet hit her in the head while she slept. it happened this morning in frederick. police say the bullet went through a fence and 2 walls in the house along heather ridge drive before going to the girl s bedroom. i just woke up and i was scared. everybody came in. and then i had ran out. because i didn t know what he to do. they called the cops and they came. the teen was not seriously hurt. police are looking for suspects. and say it appears the shots were fired from the alley behind the house. a 14-year-old girl electrocuted in the city park. it happened four years ago. but deanna greene s family said they still have yet to get any answer from the city or the company. who was working in the park when it occurred. they file a lawsuit last year. but a judge ruled they cannot sue the city. but did not let the electrical company off the hook so easily. they could have stood up in the beginning and told us what happened. you know, the work was done on the field a couple of months ago. you have to have knowledge of what is going on in your backyard. they refused to turnover the information. they are expected back in court some time next month. the trial for the man accused of kidnapping and killing chandra levy will stay in washington d.c. he appeared in federal court today. he pleaded not guilty to first degree murder. he will stand trial for killing federal intern chandra levy. disappeared back in 2001. her body was found a year later, in rock creek park. he asked to have a trial moved because of pretrial publicity. and a man is standing trial for a third time for murder back in 2007. and antonio morris charged with killing michael frances in april of that year. skeletal remains found near the home of moore s aunt a year later. previous trial ended in a mistrial and a hung jury. and dance performance turning heads. performers are 8 and 9 years old. and some say their moves are too sexy. you be the judge. tube video shows the girls dancing at a dance competition in california. many say their scrimp he outfits, provocative moves and the song are inappropriate. so, is the dance routine too sex foe small children? facebook to boycott one gas station. online group boycott bp is gaining momentum as the crisis in the gulf gets worse. dozens of bp in the region of baltimore and so far thousands are participating in the protest. supporters say the boycott sends a strong message. i would like to see others join and to show that we re taking a stand as americans. we re angry at what is happening to the gulf. it is not clear yet how much impact facebook groups plead to boycott bp is having at the company pumps. a houston texas teacher that beat a student apologizes this evening. cell phone video clearly shows 40-year-old sherry lynn davis punching and kicking a student. mother is suing the school system. davis was fired after the incident. she has not been charged yet. her lawyer claims there is more to the incident than this video shows. dave the mailman is in a lot of trouble. most letter carriers deliver the mail, dave has been hoarding it for years. 20,000 letters have been discovered in dave the
