Nbc 10s matt delucia is live in summerton and youve been talking to police on scene. What can you tell us . Reporter i did just get some new information from police who are investigating this crime. The search continues this morning for three men, they say, are responsible for breaking into this apartment behind me and then robbing the people inside. And this happened just before 2 30 thrnlgis morning. Three men came to this home and kicked in the door and there was visible damage on that front door. They then go upstairs and rob three people inside. When officers got here they heard glass breaking and the men jumped out the window. Now, a neighbor just happened to be out here hearing what was going on and trying to chase down these men. And he describes what happened. I grabbed my sidearm right out back saw two gentleman jump out of the back of the window and then i saw two officers flash their lights on me. They asked me who i was. I told them i had my side arm, i got to the ground, they disarmed me, they were very polite and professional. They didnt throw me to the ground or anything like that. About an hour ago, Police Stopped a car nearby that appeared suspicious but no connection has been made as of yet. But the person in that vehicle, were told is being questioned. Police tell me they did find phones footprints leading into the woods and one of the bushes snagged the hat off of one of the men. Agents are waiting for a search agent to go through home and im told one of the motives may be money. Were still getting information as this investigation continues. But i have been told that all three at this point have not been caught. Again, one person being questioned with a possible connection to this crime. There is some damage to the other side of this building so in the next 30 minutes, well head over there and try to give you a new Vantage Point of what police are looking at here this morning. This one happened overnight in tacony. Investigators say the robber had a gun when he got into the house along edmond street. Its unclear if he got away with any cash or valuables. Nobody here was hurt. We are following a developing story. A gunman is still on the loose after shooting three people at a mall in western pennsylvania. And Authorities Say this shooting was not random. This happened inside of the Monroeville Mall just before 8 00 last night. The mall is just east of pittsburgh. Two of the victims were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The third is in stable condition. That hospital is on lockdown until the suspected shooter is captured. Police say they have identified the person that theyre looking for and that the man targeted one of those victims. Again, they are saying that this is not random. We did speak to one witness by phone, who told us what it was like inside the mall when the shooting started. Everybody kind of put it together and people started running. Someone said someone has a gun or theyre shooting Something Like that. And when we got in the parking lot, we started hearing sirens police cars started showing up. At this same mall in december, a massive brawl broke out when hundreds of teenagers got into fights. The trial is set to begin this week for the philadelphia man accused of gunning down another person over a pair of headphones. Arkell garcia is facing several charges, including murder. Police say he gunned down 21yearold Christian Massey in november 2013 in the citys overbrooke neighborhood. Massey was walking to a friends house when investigators say garcia tried to steal his beats by dr. Dre headphones. Massey refused to hand them over and was shot several times. An honest philadelphia couple may have saved dozens of people from dealing with taxtime headaches after they found a stack of w2s littered in the streets. Yvette santiago and her husband found the documents scattered near their yard in wissinoming. The tax returns showed peoples names, Social Security numbers dates of birth, and employment information, including their salaries. We took the papers to a tax expert who cant believe it. Police are searching for the men who broke into a house overnight in northeast philadelphia. They managed to escape through a secondfloor window. Nbc 10s matt delucia is live at the scene to fill us in on what happened. Matt . Reporter rosemary, we moved to the back of the apartment to show you the damage that was done right over there. You can see the window that was kicked out during the getaway. Were at the brookshire trace apartments. And ive been talking with police this morning who are investigating this Home Invasion<\/a>. The search continues this morning for three men police tell me are responsible for this crime. Heres what ive learned, just before 2 30 this morning, police tell me three men came to this home and kicked in the front door. Then they went upstair and robbed three people inside. When officers got here they heard glass breaking and the men jumped out the window. We spoke with a neighbor who says he heard the commotion and went outside. He explains what happened next. By the time i hit the corner out of the back of my house, they started running to the left behind the apartments. Then once i started spru ded spru ded pursuing the other two officers ran over and informed me to get to the ground. Reporter a little over an hour ago, police tell me that they stopped a car that appeared to be suspicious and they had been questioning that driver but so far no connection has been made to this crime. There has been some evidence out here that was found at the scene, including a ban danna and also some cell phones. You can see those cell phones right there on the sidewalk laying there. You can see behind me police are holding this scene until they get a search warrant to go through the home. Ive also been told that police are trying to figure out what was stolen from this property and from the people inside. As for a motive im told that it could very well be money. That the homeowner was online, talking about coming into money recently, so right now, Police Believe<\/a> that the homeowner was targeted. And police just told me that two guns were found upstairs. The investigation, of course is still underway. But fortunately, no injuries as a result of this early Home Invasion<\/a> and robbery that happened here this morning. Live in northeast philadelphia, matt delucia, nbc 10 news. Thank you, matt. This morning, Philadelphia Police<\/a> are also looking for a suspect wanted in a different Home Invasion<\/a>. This one happened overnight in tacony. Investigators say the robber had a gun when he got into the house along edmonds street. Its unclear if he got away with anything. Nobody here was hurt. New from overnight, Philadelphia Police<\/a> tell us that one man is in stable condition after a driveby shooting outside of a party. The man was standing by the door of the house on rohrer street in kensington. This was around 10 30 last night. He was shot in the shoulder. Police have not made any arrests in this case. This morning, we are following a developing story out of western pennsylvania. A shooting at a mall there. Police say they have identified a suspect, but right now, nobody is under arrest yet. According to authorities the gunman shot three people inside the Monroeville Mall<\/a> just before 8 00 last night. The mall is just east of pittsburgh. Two of the victims were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The third is in stable condition. That hospital is on lockdown until the suspected shooter is captured. Police say the shooting was not random and that one of the victims was targeted. Witnesses weve spoke to by phone tell us that shoppers ran frantically from the mall. Everybody kind of put it together. Everybody started running. Someone said, he has a gun, or theyre shooting or Something Like<\/a> that. You started hearing sirens and police cars started showing up. At this same mall you may remember that a massive brawl broke out in december. Hundreds of teenagers got into several fights and at the time police said that it had started on social media. An honest philadelphia couple may have saved dozens of people from dealing with tax time headaches after they found a stack of w2s just littered in the street. Yvette santiago and her husband found the documents scattered near their yard in wissinoming. The tax returns showed peoples names, Social Security<\/a> numbers, dates of birth, and employment information, including their salaries. We took the papers to a tax expert who is in disbelief. He tells us that those affected are lucky the santiagos are good people. Responsible for getting out there, because as a preparer youve got a responsibility to make sure that this information doesnt get out. A man shot and killed his exwife and several of his children before turning the gun on himself. This happened in a suburb of atlanta yesterday. Authorities say in total the man shot six people before taking his own life. Two of the kids did survive the attack. Police have not released the names of the alleged shooter or the victims. The United Arab Emirates<\/a> is sending a squadron of jet fighters to join jordan in the war against isis. Several jordanian f16s took off from a military air base loaded with bombs and headed for isis targets. Jordan ramped up its air strikes this week after isis released a video showing a captured jordanian pilot being burned to death in a cage. Meanwhile, the family of an American Woman<\/a> held hostage by isis is Still Holding<\/a> on to hope that shes alive. On friday isis leaders claimed that 26yearold Kayla Mueller<\/a> was killed in a Jordanian Air<\/a> strike in syria. The u. S. Officials say theres no evidence to authenticate that report. Isis took mueller hostage in august 2013 as she was leaving a hospital, where she was an aid worker. Mueller is the only known u. S. Hostage who is still being held by isis. Federal prosecutors have charged six people from the u. S. With aiding isis. One of them appeared in federal court in chicago yesterday. The group is accused of sending money and military equipment to rebel groups in syria. Federal prosecutors say that the groups communicated through social media. Then that boundary continues to sink through. The colder air is dragged down and thats what were going to see overnight into monday. By 9 00 a. M. To the north and west, the Lehigh Valley<\/a> the poconos seeing that wintry mix. Then it overspreads the area. Its not a huge shield and were seeing breaks so well see some dry breaks as well. By 6 00 youll see the system starting to pull away. Thats really going to drag in the cold air. Everyone has a chance of seeing snow at the end of this and thats what well track for tomorrow.
