virginia and now into virginia. so down towards culpepper, back coordinate washington, front royal, harasssonburg in virginia, 81 and 66 coming up soon. those thunderstorms will continue to move off toward the east. most likely passing to the south and west of the dc metro. 62 degrees on our tuesday. 61 on wednesday with another chance of rain. most likely in the morning. and then late in the afternoon, thursday and friday, cooling off. friday a high of only 50. but it gets a lot colder after that for the weekend. the extended forecast, i ll have it for you guys at 6:00. all right. thank you, doug. well, our heart broke. it did. in cleveland. your heart broke in cleveland. i think those ohio state fans are still probably trying to leave the arena. there were so many there, literally. dominated. i got back this morning, but it was like a tiny slice of george mason pie in a sea of red. george mason s score in the second half last night was 46-40. and that what is what coach larranaga pointed out in the locker room. had they been able to be that consistent in the first half, it could have been a different story, but then again maybe not, because as one bystander put it, ohio state looked like they could have beat the cleveland cavaliers that night. they were that good. and mason was overmatched. the beginning of this game looked like a mirage in a desert of red. mason jumping out to a nine-point lead, but when that lead dwindled, it kept going and going and going. george mason knew ohio state would be tough, but they didn t expect this. the patriots fell victim to one of the hottest shooting teams in the nation. ohio state went on a monster 15-15 run, shooting 75% from three-point range. whenever you lose, it s a disappointing effort. when we came out from the tip and battling with the guys, and from the first five, ten minutes of the game, we were right in there with him. and i think they just took control of the game, and when you look at the scoreboard in the second half and, you know, the game is over, and you are just like just put your head down. reporter: this george mason team had to overcome a hurdle before the game even began. the player that made a difference on friday was luke hancock, had 18 points. he came down with the flu last night after dinner, couldn t trachl to travel to the arena with his team. once he was good enough to come, it was halfway through the game. he spent the rest of the time watching from the training room. it s challenging when you go in at full-strength. but when you lose one of your key players, a starter, a guy who does so many different things for us, it is very difficult, because players are all a little different. and what luke brings to the table, we don t have anybody on the team that plays like him. reporter: because of his sickness, luke hancock was not able to play one final game with mason s seniors, isaiah tate and cam long. he wasn t well enough to make it into the locker room to witness an emotional debrief. that s when coach jim larranaga thanked his seniors. cam long said it wasn t until that moment he realized how much his teammates considered him the leader. being able to cry in front of your teammates, and they still come up to you and say hey, man, we really appreciate it and all that. it just shows that i really meant something to this team. reporter: and that s what happened after the game? yeah, that s what happened after the game. because everybody else, while we re in here just sitting down and looking up and the coach is giving his speech, there s no way i could have lifted my head at that moment. i mean, because there was just is so much going on in my head. like the season is over with. you know, my college career is over with. and just put my head down the whole time, and tears just and emotion just taking over. i mean, i just didn t really know what else to do besides keep my head down and hopefully understand that my teammates understand that i did everything i could to keep us going. senior cam long and his teammates were emotionally drained after that loss. but the one thing coach larranaga pointed out, they are mason s winningest team in history. and ohio state, those guys they could have beaten anybody. they did not look like college kids out there. it was a thing of beauty. every single three they hit, it went right in. it was great. how are your brackets doing, by the way? oh, done. syracuse crushed me. syracuse. is that what you re saying? trying to rub it in? gator talk. it helps. i should say so. after the break, what if rented a beach house and arrived to find an alley? yeah, this is florida gator country. it s really happening, folks. we re going to tell you how con we have some video that might be unsettling to some. this is being hailed a medical miracle. a man down in texas has become the first in the country to receive a full face transplant. this is the before now. a couple of years ago, dallas weans was disfigured at work when his hand touched a high-voltage power line. that changed last week as surgeons replaced his nose, lips, facial muscles and nerves from an anonymous donor. that surgery took 15 hours. this is video again before the surgery. recovery will take months. and weans will not be able to see. thousands of spring breakers are hitting the beaches in south florida, hoping for that dream vacation. but some tourists are having a spring break nightmare, when they realize the room they rented online doesn t even exist. jeff burnside investigates a south florida underground scam. reporter: miami and south beach remain a popular spring break destination for young people looking for fun. but their vacations turn to nightmares, thanks to people like robert fam. robby, hey, jeff burnside from nbc. someone named robert fam is posting these ads on craigslist, renting condos on south beach for unbelievably low prices. hello? we checked the addresses, 78 ocean court is this alley. 178 ocean drive is, well, this corner. the closest thing to 1406 ocean court is this utility box. and 320 ocean drive is a building. but as you can see here, it is boarded up, and it doesn t appear well, there s not even a doorknob. so this is a condemned building. ms. taylor? is that you? yes. reporter: we intercepted keisha taylor from texas. yes, i rented the room online through christian craigslist, and then everything seemed legit. reporter: and then they got to see their condo at 320 ocean drive. i mean, does he have a conscience at all? okay, now what? reporter: these e-mails show thousands are inquiring about the fake ads. it s unclear just how many are sending money to rent the nonexistent condos. so when we learned fam would be at this sidewalk cafe, we asked him. why are you renting condos to people who when you don t even own these condos and they don t exist. that s not mine. reporter: actually are it is. there s your name right there, robert fam, your cell number and your e-mail address, too. that s not my number. reporter: that s your name, robert fam, right? yeah, but i didn t do those ads. reporter: he eventually left after threat pg us with his lawyer. as for sheila, a local hotel gave them a free three-night stay so they didn t miss their vacation. that s going to do it for news4 at 5:00. stay right there. news4 at 6:00 starts right now. you re watching nbc 4, washington s news leader. now, live in hd, this is news4 at 6:00. a report on what may have sparked a rage in a woman accused of attacking a co-worker at the lululemon yoga store. attacks continue in libya, but president obama says the u.s. role there is about to change. a teacher from virginia went on a mission to japan and found herself caught in the middle of a devastating earthquake and tsunami. but we begin with that case of murder at the lululemon store, and a new answer as to why one woman would allegedly beat a co-worker to death. good evening, i m wendy rieger. and i m jim vance. dorene is off tonight. 28-year-old brittney norwood appeared in court in rockville today. she was the victim turned suspect now in the murder of jana murray, and a murder this month at the lululemon store in bethesda. for the first time, prosecutors revealed that an alleged fight over
