Back in January 2021, a strange scenario came up during NetherRealm Studios' Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition: North American League - North America West Week 2 event. One of the competitors, Titaniumtigerzz, made it into top 8 on the losers side before being disqualified on stream as a direct result of his custom variation name for Sheeva — "WhyDidNRSdoThis." This custom variation equipped Sheeva with Dragon Stance, Queen's Punishment and Enhanced Dragon Drop.
About a week later, NetherRealm Studios addressed Sheeva with a patch that applied a few nerfs that targeted Dragon Drop and Dragon Stance by giving them both two additional frames of start up. Was this really enough of a response from NetherRealm Studios?
