What you need to know about first major snowstorm of season

Here’s everything you need to know.
Snowfall accumulations: 12 to 18 inches
Temperatures: Wednesday’s high is 31 degrees and the overnight low is 22 degrees.
Wind: East to northeast winds at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph may cause blowing snow and isolated power outages.
To report a power outage: PPL customers can text “outage” to “TXTPPL” and UGI customers can call 800-276-2722.
Safe practices: Clear snow or ice accumulation from the outside vents of your appliances to prevent a build-up of carbon monoxide in your home, UGI spokesman Joseph Swope said.
Snow should be cleared around natural gas meters to provide a path for professionals who may require access.
