On the cusp of another COVID spring, travel editor Freda Moon has tasked herself with seeking out more adventures. And, specifically, adventures that end in a day trip-worthy meal.
Tucked between Coast Guard Island and the 1-880, Quinn's Lighthouse Restaurant and Pub fits the bill. So on a recent afternoon, Moon pushed her lime green Ocean Kayak into the Oakland Estuary towards the 131-year old lighthouse, a fish burger and a Bloody Mary.
