$17,500 settlement to family injured by Prairie du Chien principal
Now former principal Amundson was found not guilty during a 2019 jury trial

Greg White Updated: LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Prairie du Chien school district has agreed to pay a $17,500 settlement to the family of child injured by his principal.
Aaron Amundson was accused of spraying a chemical and using a scouring pad to remove writing on a child’s hand.
Amundson is the former principal of Bluff View Intermediate School,
The 14-year-old was later taken to an emergency room for a possible chemical burn.
In 2019, Amundson was found not guilty of child abuse of a student during a jury trial.
