Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for three men facing felony drug charges following a pair of unrelated traffic stops recently in Guernsey County.
A trial date for a fourth suspect facing a weapons charge was also scheduled during the arraignment hearings in the Cambridge Municipal Court.
Leontae Brooks, 19, Columbus, and Odonshae Turner, 21, Garfield Heights, are slated to appear for preliminary hearings on March 4 while Lorenzo Williams, 23, Cambridge, is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on March 5.
Meanwhile, a trial date for Aaron Nathan, 22, Cleveland, was scheduled for March 8 in the municipal court. He faces one count of carrying a concealed weapon, a first-degree misdemeanor. ....

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of three men arrested during a traffic stop Monday night after charges were filed against them.
The driver, Odonshae M. Turner, 21, Garfield Heights, was charged with one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a first-degree felony. He was also cited by deputies for a turn/stop signal violation.
A passenger, Lorenzo Williams, 23, Cambridge, faces one count each of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a first-degree felony, and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a third-degree felony.
A second passenger, Aaron Nathan, 22, Cleveland, was charged with one count of carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor offense. ....

Spurred by the demands of the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers at Princeton and Google are applying mechanical engineering and artificial intelligence to increase the availability and effectiveness of ventilation treatments worldwide.
Ventilators and their support equipment are expensive and complex devices that require expert attention from doctors and other highly trained medical workers. The devices must be carefully calibrated and monitored to ensure they are meeting a range of parameters pressure, volume, breath rate tuned to each individual patient.
