On Tuesday 2 February, during the meeting of the Regional Medical Chamber in Łódź, Poland the award For contributions to health protection was officially presented to, among others, an Adventist doctor Tomasz Karauda.
Dr Karauda, in cooperation with the Kulczyk Foundation, donated over PLN 20 million (approx. USD$ 5 million) to the ‘Doctors for Doctors Foundation’ in April 2020.
With those funds almost 60 tons of personal protective equipment was purchased and delivered to doctors in Poland. This was at the time when such equipment and resources were needed the most.
A phone call from the president of the Regional Medical Chamber informing Dr Karauda of the award he was to receive, came as a complete surprise. “For me, this distinction means further motivation and a sign from God that I am going in the right direction, which is to continue saving people s ....

The Executive Committee (EXCOM) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church voted Wednesday, February 17, to move the 2022 General Conference (GC) Session, the quinquennial business meeting of the denomination, from Indianapolis, Indiana to St. Louis, Missouri, also located in the United States. The vote comes after GC Management was unexpectedly informed by the city of Indianapolis that the space in Indianapolis, was no longer available for the June 6-11, 2022 dates. Pastor Lameck Barashinga Is Released From Prison in Burundi

The East-Central Africa Division (ECD) is pleased to inform the Seventh-day Adventist Church members and the public that pastor Lameck Barishinga was released from the Bujumbura Central Prison in Burundi on February 10, 2021. 
Pastor Barishinga is a faithful servant of God in the Adventist Church in Burundi. On October 24, 2019, he was arrested and jailed for his faith. Since then, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has mobilized brothers and sisters all over the world to pray for him and the whole church in Burundi.  ....
