FIFA suspends introduction of new agent regulations

FIFA has temporarily suspended the worldwide introduction of the new football agent regulations.
The implementation will be delayed until the European Court of Justice (ECJ) delivers a final decision following an injunction issued in Germany against the introduction of a selection of the regulations.
The FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR) were introduced to raise “professional and ethical standards” and had been set to come into play in October 2023.  They include capping an agent’s commission at three per cent on all player salaries over £161,000, limiting payments to agents for. ....
