The bridge around 6 30 yesterday afternoon. Visibility as a quarter mile with fog. No signs of a spill, everybody was safe. Caltrans engineers responded but found no significant damage to the bay bridge. This is just a scrape to the bridge. Reporter the fender acted like a bumper and caltrans says they will replace 40 feet of it but the question is, how did this happen in the first place .
