The Defence Ministry announced awards including Best Picture for a burning Russian warship after it was struck by a ballistic missile in the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian navy said early Thursday that it had struck the Orsk, a 370ft Russian Alligator-class tank carrier, as it was sitting at anchor in the captured port of Berdyansk.
'We've made multiple attempts here but they have not answered up,' said Pentagon spokesman John Kirby on Thursday. 'They have declined to take the calls.'
