Children’s ID Tags Recovered at Nazi Death Camp SOBIBOR, POLAND— Live Science reports that four identity tags have been unearthed at the site of the Sobibor Nazi death camp in eastern Poland by a team of Israel Antiquities Authority researchers. Around 250,000 Jews were killed at the Sobibor Nazi death camp, located in Poland, and an excavation of the site reveals at least four children also died there during the Holocaust. Archaeologists working at the now closed camp uncovered four metal ID tags belonging to children ages five to 12, engraved with names, dates of birth and hometown.
