All six are charged with multiple felonies with potential penalties ranging from ten to thirty years in prison. State’s Attorney Dan Wright says all six are being held in the Sangamon County Jail on bonds of anywhere from $200,000 to $300,000. The six are: 24-year-old Anthony Strange; 18-year-old Mysean Burden; 18-year-old Jahquel Pearsall; 27-year-old Michael Smith; 18-year-old Jerry Br...

All six are in custody of the Sangamon County Jail. Charged were Anthony Strange, 24; Mysean Burden, 18; Jahquel D. Pearsall, 18; Michael A. Smith, 27; Jerry E. Broomfield, 18  and Michael A. Benning, 19, all of Springfield. Smith, Broomfield and Benning all face armed violence charges. The Class X felony is punishable by 15 to 30 years behind bars.
