are we as a country doing enough to counter china's activities around the globe? >> no. from one perspective, look at the steel plants in the world. the top 15 steel plants, nine of them are in china. bret, guess how many are in the united states. zero. we went from the top exporter of steel to the top importer of steel. why aren't we doing more to build modern steel here. why aren't we doing more to build modern aluminum here? there are things we need to be building and we have got to lower the trade deficit with china. to say me, that's the biggest miss. i think we are in a bipartisan way taking action to arm taiwan, make sure we have naval peter. superiority. we could only muster four in response. part of that is that our ship building in the united states has completely atrophied. we don't have the raw materials like steel and like other types of manufacturing and so i think
