Maine Day will return April 28 with several spring clean-up activities and entertainment for University of Maine community members, all following health and safety guidelines. Students, faculty and staff interested in participating in community services projects can fill out the online survey. Check-in for volunteering will be held at 9 a.m. at the Memorial Union. Service projects will take place on campus, in Orono, Old Town, and Bangor. Grab-and-go Maine Day barbecue will be available from 11 a.m.â1 p.m. at multiple campus locations for students, faculty and staff. Hilltop Dining will serve students from Somerset, Oxford, Gannett, Androscoggin and Cumberland Halls and DTAV/Patch. York Dining will serve residents of York, Kennebec, Aroostook, Balentine, Colvin, Estabrooke, Stodder and Penobscot Halls. ....
