Commentator, scott jennings and ashley ellison. i may have overstated the case there, little chance that the ethics committee will do anything, actually. with an evenly split at this committee there s essentially zero chance, right that there, it is there? well i m not sure that what the ethics committee will do. the committee did not make criminal referrals for them. but i think introducing their names, the justice department could still call them and questioned them about the role they played in january six. and so, while i think that the january six committee is a really important thing in highlighting members of the republican party that were still essential players and did potentially unethical things that day and that they should someone should take note. and if nothing is happening on the committee, at least it is in the record that they stated their claim that these folks were a part of this attempt to overthrow our government. ....
Then again the culinary union. i do think, i m not as surprised democrats have been doing as well this cycle because there was a lot at stake this election. i think voters when they went in, they might not have been ecstatic about the president of the united states or the economy, but it was about who can you trust. for the last 20 years or two years when you had a party sowing doubt on our economy, trying to overthrow our democracy with the insurrection, you know, voters ultimately said, i want to trust the dems, they re trying to do things to improve and i m going to give them more chances to do it. i think that s with dems are faring well. you just can t ignore how roe played a significant role in this election. it was an overreach by the supreme court. people spoke out and said they don t want that. important point you are making, ashley ellison. everybody stand by. we will get back to all of you. one against all eyes on nevada. ....
Ashley ellison, and alice stewart, glad you re all here. just to clear up the record, they were not waiting on him to announce this on monday, we ve known this story for quite some time, to take credit for it shows me something very different. i mean the fact that this was a story nobody wants nobody wanted it to be true, that a ten year old has been raped, repeatedly, let alone got pregnant and had to have an abortion. but why politically, why in terms of the media landscape, why was this such a story that could not be true? was it because it posed a threat to the idea of not having the exceptions? i think what is disturbing, we heard a lot of this week about the same republicans and conservatives that use false claims of election fraud to push false claims of abortion fraud, that should not happen. the story here, as you said, is a strategy story of a ten-year-old girl who was raped by an undocumented man, he has been arrested and will face ....
