A cargo ship has lost power and rammed into a major bridge in Baltimore, destroying the span in seconds and plunging it into the river. Six workers are missing after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed early Tuesday and are presumed dead. Authorities have suspended the search for them until Wednesday morning. Maryland State Police Superintendent Col. Roland L. Butler Jr. said in the evening that the search and rescue mission was transitioning to one of search and recovery.
