Priced at INR 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Ather 450 Apex is a special edition scooter commemorating 10 years of Ather. It comes with a new riding mode named Wrap+ mode which takes the scooter from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
The Ather 450 Apex comes with several upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Ather 450X. It boasts a more powerful 7.0 kW/26 Nm motor, allowing it to surpass speeds of 100 kmph. In contrast, the 450X had a top speed of 90 kmph. The Apex also offers better acceleration, reaching 40 kmph from a standstill in just 2.9 seconds.
Ather 450 Apex: The 450 Apex delivers peak torque of 210 Nm at the wheel, nearly 25% higher than its closest competitor and the average 200cc ICE two-wheeler, which is also the best in the scooter industry. With Warp+, Ather has increased the power levels of the 450 Apex by 10% so that the peak torque is sustained at higher speeds. This has resulted in a 30% faster 40–80 km/h speed compared to the 450X. With the increased motor power, the 450 Apex now has a top speed of 100 km/h, the company said.
