Homeless shelter Camp Esperanza could double in size after TxDOT land purchase
TxDOT says the property is roughly seven acres of land, previously owned by a private group. That land could nearly double the amount of property at the emergency non-congregate shelter site. But the groups are still in the very early planning stages.
