With BBC's Twitter handle labelled 'government funded media', Elon Musk has sparked a row with the broadcaster. It is not just BBC, other broadcasters including PBS, NPR has been labelled similar way which was objected by the media platforms
Right now, only the main BCC account is labelled as govt-funded media while the subsidiaries such as BBC News (World) and BBC News, BBC Sports, BBC World, and even BBC New Hindi are just mentioned as "official organisation on Twitter."
A message displayed on the Twitter handle said the account has been taken down “in response to a legal demand”.
