Galesburg has released its annual report, an extensive overview of data and projects undertaken by various departments during the year 2021.

Galesburg City Council on Monday night unanimously approved incentives for a downtown property that's overgoing major renovations with the plan of being a brewhouse/taproom/event venue. Benedict Developers are revamping 185 S. Kellogg St., which is at the intersection with Tompkins St, a block from the Amtrak Depot. Benedict Developers is seeking a grant from the city of Galesburg for proposed facade renovations at 185 S.
