serious but stable condition. this all happened around 9:30 a.m. this morning. the officer was investigating a single car accident on the elevated portion of interstate 83 just above union avenue near the pepsi sign. she had gotten out of her patrol car when another vehicle driving by went out of control. that vehicle hit the patrol car and a patrol car hit the officer and propelled her over the bridge and down 20 feet to the parking lot. the officer was rest -- rushed to shock trauma. we are waiting for more information from the commissioner and the mayor. spokesman kevin cartwright...
