Edy was born May 11, 1928 to the late William Hager and Orpha Glaze Hager. On March 18, 1948, she married Paul C. Clark. In her early years of marriage, she volunteered and then was recruited to work for Susque-view Home. She later obtained her real estate license and worked for two local realty firms. She also worked at Homestead Pools for her “adopted” family, the Groves. Edythe was one of the neighborhood “Moms” and her home was one where all the “Red Eye” kids were welcomed to congregate.
