Bitso, a Mexico City-based crypto platform, closed $62m in Series B funding. The round was led by Kaszek Ventures and QED Investors with participation from existing shareholders Coinbase Ventures and Pantera Capital. Nigel Morris from QED and Nicolas Szekasy from Kaszek have joined the board. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth into Latin America and extend its engineering team.
