'Kill the Bill' protest in Worcester

AROUND 150 people gathered in Cathedral Square today to protest the Government's police, crime, sentencing and courts bill.
Activists of all ages braced the hail stones to 'defend their democractic right to protest' at The Elgar Statue in the city earlier today.
Although nobody came forward to admit they organised the protest, representatives from Extinction Rebellion, Black Lives Matter and the Socialist Party all attended.
Elston Gunn, 19, founder of Black Lives Matter Worcestershire said: "I am here because I want a better world for everybody. We must make a stand and not let our voices be silenced.
"I think this bill is fascist. It has no place in a legitimate working democracy. I am grateful to whoever organised this protest and I think everyone here should be proud that they are fighting for their democratic rights."
