Complex on garfield in deland. He heard pow pow pow and thought it was a firecracker. Then he said he felt like he got hit in the head with a baseball bat. He put his hands back and there was blood. Reporter josh was shot in the back of the head. His friend called 911. Laura said the doctors think his baseball hat helped save his life. They think the plastic clip on the back of the cap possibly deflected the bullet enough so it didnt go through his skull. Reporter doctors ha told josh it was a miracle.
