one person is dead this morning after a single car crash in silver spring. the accident happened around 9:30 last night in the 8600 block of 16th street. montgomery county police say a white honda accord was driving towards d.c. when it approaches a rideon bus, picking up a passenger. the driver of the honda swerved to avoid hitting the bus and ran off the road, hitting the can curb, a fire hydrant, and a street sign before flipping on to its roof. the driver was pronounced dead on the scene. no one else was injured in that crash. police have not released the driver's name. driving...
