Bundlerks d bundler in the game, that s measurement. if you see someone shooting to the top of the polls with money, and most of their money has come from big donors and big bundlers, you can look at that because they get their message out, they have more opportunity to do that. but if you look at the movement pieces, obama was a beautiful, historical fundraising deal when he had small donors. that translated into a major movement and won him the election. well, a small donor is still a stakeholder. adam, rain or shine, they re going to go out on election day and make sure they vote. so talk to us about mayor pete. fundraising is extraordinary. we have seen big dollars, especially out of places like new york city and los angeles moving in the direction of mayor pete buttigieg, but there seems to be something of a disconnect when it comes to the polling. that s right. you know, he had a field leading ....
Quarter. he raised $3 million more than bernie sanders took in, who had previously been the fund-raising leader. for a guy who always had pretty easy senate re-elections, who never really had to raise money himself. he didn t like it. he didn t like doing it, it s probably better than people thought he would have been able to do six months ago. one of the differences is that he is doing the traditional fund-raising that others said we will not do, from big donors. i m not sure if it s correct to use the term bundler but traditional fund-raising and yet 97% of his donations, his campaign is saying, is from grass roots supporters, meaning under $200. the avenlg donation was $49. ....
Heel for republicans? it could be. one of the things that i noticed because i m actively working on campaigns. one of the things that i have noticed is the emphasis on campaigning groups within a campaign of women. women for x, y, z, women for a better america or whatever the candidate s name is. so i ve noticed increasing focus on these groups. i ve also noticed the appeal to try to get dollars out of women. a lot of times i m in fund-raising and a lot of times we go straight towards the men and are campaigning for dollars. but i ve noticed a lot more a lot more outreach asking for women to get involved with their pocketbooks, not just their voices. one of the things that i ve noticed as well is pay attention to the small donor. the large donor, the bundler, that s great. that adds to the campaign total. but look across america. look at each of these individual races and look for that small donor. that s how obama won. and we ll talk about this a ....
Rob: a bit of a downer for the happiest place on earth, disney loses a big tax break. jillian: tracy carrasco here with what it means for park goers. reporter: the anaheim city council voted to end agreements that offer the disney resort disneyland some tax breaks. surprisingly this came at the request of disney. these incentive deals were designed to encourage disney to build a luxury hotel and expand the theme park a multimillion dollar expansion. but disney, they said they wanted these tax breaks taken away because they said, quote, it created an adversarial climate where there should be cooperation and goodwill so they are hoping by ending these deals it will improve the relationship between the city and disney. rob: that is interesting. this is also very interesting. a robotic bundler at your hotel. ....
