OSP, Sheriff's Office responds to crash south of John Day | News

The Oregon State Police and Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded Wednesday morning to a single-vehicle crash involving 7 people on Highway 395, milepost 15, at Star Ridge Summit between Seneca and Canyon City.

The group of people in the vehicle included an infant, but there were no significant injuries, said Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley.

Law enforcement responded to the incident around 5:51 a.m. and found the vehicle down an embankment, 60 feet off the road, said OSP Trooper Cody Weaver. Weaver said the vehicle was traveling northbound. The driver, he said, was cited for careless driving, no operator’s license, and driving uninsured.
