Carson Tahoe Health aims to turn the Silver State pink in October for breast cancer awareness

Carson Tahoe Health is proud to host its annual "THiNK PiNK" breast cancer awareness event. The Quad County community will gather at Red’s Old 395 Grill in Carson City on Friday, Oct. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. in support of our neighbors and community in the fight against breast cancer and raise awareness of early detection.

Senator Square: Carson High School teacher raises money for breast cancer awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this time every year touches the heart of one of the teachers at CHS: Art teacher Mike Malley, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, due to early detection, has decided to take breast cancer awareness to a new level by putting on a fundraising event Oct. 18 at the Trimmer Barn from 5 to 8 p.m.

Clear Creek Bowmen hosts annual Cancer Shoot

DUE TO WEATHER CONCERNS THIS SHOOT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO MAY 2ND. Sunday, May 2 the Clear Creek Bowmen will be holding their annual Cancer Shoot. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the shoot starts at 9 a.m. It will be a 35, unmarked yardage 3D shoot.
