David M. Honan, 71, passed away January 14th, 2021, at Saint Josephâs Hospital, Syracuse David was born March 11th, 1949 in Washington D.C., the eldest child to Judge John J. and Marilyn Wiest Honan. He grew up with his four siblings in South Buffalo, NY, an area that was full of his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was there he met his future wife Elizabeth A. OâConnor in 1962. He graduated from Canisius High School in 1967. He was drafted into the Army where he served with the Vietnam War Expeditionary Forces as a military police sentry dog handler. Afterward he was honorably discharged in 1970. He later attended Erie Community College (1974-1976) and then went on to attend Clarkson University (1976-1979) where he received his Bachelorâs in Civil Engineering. ....
