New Delhi, Feb 28 (IANS) The Supreme Court on Wednesday extended protection, till March 13, to BRS MLC K. Kavitha from action by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) which has summoned her in connection with the ongoing probe into the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy case.
Non-submission of correct property tax dues will attract action in accordance with the Municipal Act, the MCD said.
The fresh facts, as alleged by the ED, pertained to a claim made by a liquor businessman from whom Singh’s close associate demanded Rs 4 crore.
