04/01/21 A Solon man was taken into custody after an Iowa City police officer allegedly observed him damaging a downtown parking ramp gate. Police say the incident occurred Thursday just before 2 am at the ramp on South Linn Street. 23-year-old Zachery Nunemaker of Marshek Court run his body into the entry gate, breaking it. The officer stopped Nunemaker to arrest him, but he fled. He continued to flee despite repeated commands for him to stop. Arrest records indicate 32-year-old Justin Brown, a resident of the Iowa Lodge on The Coralville Strip, was having trouble driving out of the Iowa Memorial Union parking ramp just after 11:45 Saturday night. 02/16/21 A Coralville man has been taken into custody after allegedly refusing to leave his Boston Way apartment and fighting with police officers who tried to remove him. 1/17/21 Allegedly passing out in a pile of vomit inside the Hall Mall has led to the arrest of an Iowa City man. Passersby on the Ped Mall alerted Iowa City Police that a man appeared to be passed out in a pile of vomit at the bottom of the stairs just inside the locked Hall Mall entrance just before 10:15 Friday night.
