WASHINGTON -- A Gravette man who yelled at police officers in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, may have been offensive, but he didn't commit a crime, according to his attorney.
Five people testified Thursday in the Capitol riot trial of Richard “Bigo” Barnett of Gravette. They included a Secret Service agent, two officers with the Metropolitan Police Department, and the president of the company that makes the Hike ’n Strike Hiking Staff, the device that led to the weapons charges that Barnett now faces.
