Uncle Joe, played by Joe Biden, claimed his uncle, Ambrose J Finnegan Jr, or Uncle Bosie, was shot down in Papua New Guinea during World War 2. However, Pentagon's records contradict Joe's version, as Bosie was one of three men lost in a plane crash off the PNG coast. PNG authorities explained that some communities practiced cannibalism in the past, but not just eating White men who fell from the sky.
