Id have all my students look at these 20 votes, count what percent of the time theyre on the liberal side. That gives them their ada score, and then i would teach the whole quarter, and at the end id say, okay, now its time to guess the professors ada score. And most of them theyre all over the place. Some would say 0, some would say 100, but it was usually Something Like a 60. They were guessing that i was a leftleaning moderate.
