Teams of employees that were going to recognize from our maintenance of way section. These are the folks who maintain the entire system aside from the vehicles, everything that the vehicles run and rely on, the buildings, the tracks, all of that. I want to ask mr. Haley to come up with mr. Young lalague. Young is a track maintenance supervisor and terry manages the entire maintenance of way division and is here on behalf of the signal crew. Both of these gentlemen have been with the agency for 13 years. And were really recognizing them for two specific projects, one of which director heinicke is well familiar with, the eureka curve track replacement project which was replacing the track that you heard updates on often at the directors request over the course of the project. Very significant in terms of the basic service of the muni Metro Service through the tunnels and that the track had gotten worn to the point where we couldnt ru ....
I have two things actually. First of all, i want to bring up at our policy and governance meeting on friday we had a good presentation from enforcement commander regarding muni safety date a. It was impressive the level of data they have and how theyre able to use it to try and increase safety on the buses. So, im wondering do we have or will we be getting that same level of data for bike and Pedestrian Safety . I know its not as easy to gather since i think a lot of those muni calls either involve the police or are 311 calls. But it would be interesting to know if that same level of data exists for bike and ped because it can help in our safety quest. We can ask [speaker not understood] reiskin. One other item. I feel that from our day long strategy meeting that we may have left some sort of hanging Unanswered Questions from staff, particularly on the bicycle strate ....

Im going to bite into it. Here we go. Um. This is great with armenian coffee. Now were making some incredible armenian coffee. We buy our coffee, they have the best coffee. They come from armenia, specially made. And would you like to try it . I would like to try. Would you like sugar or no sugar . No sugar today. Im so excited. Really earthy. You can really taste the grain. I think thats what makes it so special. Really comes out. I hope ....

Pier 48s future is enormously exciting. Now i would like to turn our attention to our big brother. The giants are a truly amazing enterprise. And winning takes on many forms. Not just winning at the plate. But delivering the best ballpark experience possible along with winning the hearts and minds of its incredible fan base. The vision of what a ballpark could be and the impact on this Historic District has been nothing short of amazing. And for their enthusiasm and support, i thank them greatly. I think the vision they had. Their ballpark at at t will continue here at mission rock and again exceed expectations. Their support is very reassuring and i thank them for that. Or do we just let the status quo be and realize that there is going to be these lieers or people that have not done the out reach and we say, hey you dont get a permit or come back to us in a month. You can, did you not yet. Othat. That is sort of what i wanted to do. And the reason that i say that is there are two representatives from the community. Sure. One from the Mayors Office and one from the supervisors, so obviously it is enough to have two representatives so this should be some reason we are here and some ability to say, hey, you dont get a permit until you do your due diligence. And part of it is not the quantity, it is the quality of neighborhood out reach. So, to the next door and say, not divulging what it is that they are asking for a merit. It needs to be more quality type of permits out reach. Suggest to the chair that the subcommittee gets to dig into and understand what the commissions request is, and wha ....
