Waterford, Ireland / WLR Jan 21, 2021 10:39 AM The Helvick RNLI Lifeboat Rescue 117 helicopter and Bonmahon Coast Guard, were tasked this morning after a swimmer got into difficulty on the east side of Clonea Strand in Dungarvan. Rescue services attended the scene at around 9 o’clock this morning when it was reported that a woman had been swept out by a rip current. Fortunately, another swimmer came to the assistance of the swimmer and they both managed to reach the shore. The woman was reported to be safe and well.
