So, on a whim, Gavin formed an organisation called the Cloud Appreciation Society, and this too became massively popular, with more than 50,000 members. Gavin's love of cloud spotting eventually brought him all the way to the Gulf of Carpentaria in Queensland, to fly into the world's most spectacular cloud phenomenon: the Morning Glory.
