Construction began on the most ambitious affordable housing development of any ski town in America, probably the world, before the builders had their financing.
“You can move in with a toothbrush, your clothes, and 450 bucks a month and you’re in. That just doesn’t happen in this community,” said Tony Tyler, a partner with Columbus Pacific Development.
The effort is part of the company’s “strategic focus on investing in the employee experience,” according to a press release from Vail Resorts.
