The African National Congress (ANC) welcomes changes made by President Cyril Ramaphosa to the National Executive. The ANC believes that these changes affirm the resolution to decisively advance people’s interests and renew South Africa. The President’s changes are in line with commitments made during the State of the Nation Address (SONA) and the Cabinet Lekgotla. It is motivated by the drive to accelerate service delivery to the people of South Africa.

The ANC’s internal renewal campaign has helped strengthen President Cyril Ramaphosa’s position a few months ahead of the party’s national elective conference in December.
